The Premier of Aquitanium is the head of government in the Sanctarian state of Aquitanium. The Premier is appointed by the Governor of Aquitanium, and is the leader of the political party able to secure a majority in the Parliament of Aquitanium.
Aquitanium achieved statehood in 2019 following the federalisation of Sanctaria on 01 January 2019. The position of premier was officially created upon the passage of the Constitution of Aquitanium on 01 December 2019, and came into being on 01 January 2020. The first elections to the parliament of Aquitanium were held on 17 January 2020, with elected parliamentarians taking their seats in a special session on 01 February 2020. Anne McBride was elected the first Premier of Aquitanium and was appointed by the Governor of Aquitanium that same day.
The incumbent Premier of Aquitanium since the 2020 election is Anne McBride of the Democratic Left Party.
