The Democratic Left Party, often abbreviated to DLP, is a social-democratic political party in Sanctaria.
Led by Ethan Ringrose since 2022, the party is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Sanctaria along with the Sanctarian Conservative Party (SCP). The Democratic Left Party have governed at the federal level in Sanctaria since February 2018, firstly as a majority government following the results of the Sanctarian general election, 2018, and then as part of a coalition following the Sanctarian general election, 2022. The party participates in all of the state governments, with 3 of them currently governed by a DLP Premier or Governing-Mayor.
