The Muslim Union Party of Sloakis Islands (Arabicحزب الاتحاد الإسلامي بسلوكيس) is a political party in Slokais Islands. They are an ethnic and religious representation party tied to the mostly-Muslim region of Kaijan. They were created in 2014 and are pro-Kaijan independence.

Founded in 2014, it was not the first party to represent the Muslim population of Slokais as the 1920s and 30s as the Green and Yellow Party won local and regional elections in Kaijan during and after the First Kaijan War. In 2016, it ran in some local elections and won putting it as an official political party. In 2018, it joined a majority government in the South Kaijan Parilmeant with the Centrist Party, by 2019 there were many officeholders apart of the Muslim Union including the governor of South Kaijan. In 2020 they won 13 seats and aligned themselves with Kaijan Independence, there however were some negations as far as if they would join the left-leaning government. In the end, they ended up as confidence and supply. The agreement was that the government would pursue measures for Kaijanese autonomy as well as include Arabic as an official language required to be on signs in areas with populations that spoke Arabic.
Policy[edit | edit source]
Muslim Union pushes for Kaijanese autonomy as well as the interests of Kaijanese Muslims. Overall they are socially conservative, with the support of some left-wing policies such as welfare and rural development. The Kaijanese People's Party was formed in 2021, over differences in social policy. Currently, they are in an agreement with the Centrist Party and a member party in the Alliance for a Referendum on Kaijan.
