The Lauchenoirian Resistance was an organisation during the Second Lauchenoirian Civil War that opposed the government of Suleman Chaher and later Charissa Clarke. The Resistance was led by Laura Moore and Sonja Viratnen-Alvarez before it was revealed that she was secretly Jennifer Hale, the heir to a seat on the Council of Kerlile.
Formation[edit | edit source]
The Lauchenoirian Resistance was formed by supporters of Laura Moore's Liberal government. It was comprised initially of mainly Liberal Party supporters, but over the course of the war gained support from various anti-authoritarian and/or pro-capitalist groups.
The group was led by Sonja Viratnen-Alvarez in the capital of Buttercity, with further groups set up in other areas, notably in Elopolis by the former governor of Ulinaria province, Victoria Juarez, who was later convicted of war crimes for the mistreatment of prisoners of war.
