History[edit | edit source]

Freestyle skiing was proposed for the 2023 Hanshui Olympic Games, but was ultimately not added to the program. Instead, freestyle was introduced alongside snowboarding and cross-country skiing for the inaugural separated Winter Olympics. At Lumiere-Atlantis, six freestyle events were contested: Aerials, Halfpipe, and Moguls for men and women, respectively. Misumi is the winningest team in Olympic freestyle skiing, dominating on the halfpipe and moguls.
