Early life and education
Xia Chiu was born on February 1991 in New Fanshe in north-western Kerlile to Jian Chiu during her great-grandmother Aiyan Chiu's time serving on the Council of Kerlile. Xia grew up during the Kerlian Civil War, being sent to Maytown Academy for Girls for the duration of the conflict due to the increased security at the school. She remained in Maytown to study until she became pregnant with her firstborn daughter, Jia, in 2014.
Politics
Xia is a member of the Reform Party, advocating for greater civil rights and political freedoms within the Matriarchy of Kerlile. While pregnant with her son Cheung, Xia fled to Lauchenoiria in order to prevent her son being taken off her at birth.
