Butterfly Island
Butterfly Island is an island off the western coast of Lauchenoiria, and is a province of the Federation of Lauchenoiria. Butterfly Island is known to be the wealthiest province of Lauchenoiria, and the least affected location by the Second Lauchenoirian Civil War. Prior to 1924, the island had no permanent human population, however since the 1920s, the island has steadily been developed and is now home to around 800,000 people. The island's capital is Seahaven.
Butterfly Island is a popular tourist destination, both for Lauchenoirians and tourists from abroad. The island's name is often used pejoratively by left-wing politicians in Lauchenoiria to refer to the wealthy. The Conservative Party and Green Party dominate politics on the island.
Butterfly Island is the smallest geographical province, but with a larger population than Aeluria. The island has no native population, having been free of humans until the 20th century when it was settled. It is the technology hub of Lauchenoiria and where most advanced industries are based. The island has a large business community.

- On December 13, 2014, a suicide-bomber attacked a shopping centre in Seahaven on Butterfly Island, killing five people and injuring 11.
- In 2021, the offices of the Governor of the island were seized by Warriors of Our Earth (WOE), which led to the classification of WOE as a terrorist organisation.
