Warriors of Our Earth

Warriors of Our Earth (WOE) is a Lauchenoiria-based eco-terrorist organisation that originated as a radical splinter faction of Watchdogs of Our Earth (also abbreviated to WOE). The group first rose to prominence due to seizing control of the offices of the Governor of Butterfly Island on November 14, 2020. Volunteers who were members of the group fought in the Second Xiomeran Civil War on the side of Manauia Island, against the wishes of the government of Lauchenoiria.

The group is classed as a terrorist organisation in Lauchenoiria, Xiomera, Shuell and Sanctaria.

Aims and methodology

Warriors of Our Earth aim to achieve the same goals as Watchdogs of Our Earth, however the group is willing to use violent means to achieve their goals. The group has previously stated that they are willing to take "any and all measures" to reach their goals, up to and including "property destruction, financial chaos, and even loss of life".

Activities

Second Xiomeran Civil War

During the Second Xiomeran Civil War, which resulted in the separation of Xiomera and Huenya, members of WOE travelled to Manauia Island to assist in defending the environmentally pristine island against threats from the government of Xiomera and associated corporations. Their actions on the island included the destruction of four Xiomeran helicopters that were to be used for the defoliation of the island.

Butterfly Island siege

On November 14, 2020, members of Warriors of Our Earth seized control of the offices of the Governor of Butterfly Island, and issued an ultimatum to the government of Lauchenoiria. The ultimatum stated that the government of Lauchenoiria either appoint a member of WOE as a diplomatic official to attend the Jinyu Peace Conference, or they would take control of Butterfly Island and declare independence. The seizure of the building lasted a week, until it was ended with an assault from Lauchenoirian special forces, resulting in the arrests of all involved.

Following this incident, Lauchenoiria joined Xiomera and Shuell in their classification of Warriors as a terrorist organisation.

Xiomeran airfield bombing

In March 2023, Warriors of Our Earth claimed credit for a drone-based bombing which took place at a Xiomeran airfield during tensions between Xiomera and Manabí Rive while talks to resolve the situation were taking place in Novella Islands.

Monolith Manufacturing fire

On April 9, 2023, WOE set fire to the Shuellian corporation Monolith Manufacturing's Lauchenoirian office in the Lauchenoirian capital of Buttercity. This led to one individual being hospitalised.
