Libertas Universalis (UNV) is a Maximusian right-wing political party described as "nationalist" and "right-wing populist." Founded in 1996 as a reactionary, anti-socialist offshoot of the National Conservatives, Libertas Universalis advocates for increased spending on law and order and tighter immigration regulation. The party's primary stated goal is to "preserve and advance the character and spirit of the Maximusian Republic." In pursuit of this goal, Libertas Universalis supports economic interventionism and protectionism, and have been at times described as "war hawks" in foreign policy. In recent years, these stances have often put the party at odds with the Conservatives, traditional political allies.

Despite holding only 8 seats at the federal level (on the General Assembly) as of 2020, Libertas Universalis is considered a growing party. Libertas Universalis has restructured their platform considerably since the early 2000s, reportedly in order to increase the party's broader appeal beyond anti-communists and nationalists. Some polls suggest Libertas Universalis will gain seats in the upcoming 2024 Maximusian Federal Election, and are running Army veteran Nick Hartley as their presidential candidate.
