The King of Mallacaland is a title given to the monarch of the Kingdom of Mallacaland. Although since the Republic of Mallacaland came into existence, the throne has been disputed between King Abdin III and Najib Ahmar. However, King Abdin III has more claim to the throne as his faction controls the Royal family's winter estate.

History[edit | edit source]

King Hariri I created the Kingdom of Mallaca in 1471, with his marriage to the Queen of Jariza cementing control of most of modern-day Mallacaland. Hariri also declared Sanaa the seat of governance for his new kingdom. When Hariri I died in 1503, the throne passed to his eldest son Olmeni. Olmeni is best remembered for closing trade in the port of Sanaa, leading to a brief conflict within a coalition of various trading states across Southeastern Hesperida. Olmeni was then defeated by his younger cousin Hariri II. Hariri II is most notable for the founding of the Islamic University of Sanaa and for re-introducing Islam into governance and policy. This included mandating the religion to be practiced by all citizens of the Kingdom. Hariri II also began the First Mirazari War resulting in thousand's of Mirazari being deported from the Kingdom.
