The Constitution of Aredoa (Aredoan: Constacucia d'Aredoa) is the fundamental law of Aredoa. Ratified in March 1880 shortly after Aredoan independence, it outlines the functions and powers of state institutions, grants fundamental rights, and determines the electoral system, among other purposes. The Constitution can only be amended via a national referendum, which the National Assembly must give prior assent to. To date, 17 amendments have been made to the Constitution, most recently in 2017.
