Olivia Pierre (born 13 July 1994) is the firstborn daughter of Pauline Pierre and the heir to the Pierre family seat on the Council of Kerlile. She is a member of the Reform Party and is a well-known pro-democracy advocate within the Council families who rule Kerlile.
Early Life & Education[edit | edit source]
Olivia is the eldest of four daughters, born to Pauline Pierre and an unknown father. She was educated at the Maytown Academy for Girls, the compulsory school of future Councillors of Kerlile. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school and moved out from home, beginning work at an advocacy centre for alternative education survivors and current prisoners.
Politics[edit | edit source]
Olivia Pierre is an opponent of the gynarchial system of government currently employed in Kerlile. She is in favour of transition to democracy through reform of the present system to eventually remove the Council of Kerlile from power.
She is a proponent of freedom of speech and equal gender rights, as well as transgender recognition. She is also in favour of improving Kerlile's relations with other countries.
Family Conflict[edit | edit source]
Due to the inheritance rules of the Council of Kerlile, Olivia's liberal politics have caused her to often be in conflict with her mother, Pauline. In 2014, her mother attempted to disown her, however under Kerlian law this was not possible and a court ruled against the Councillor.
Olivia is a survivor of multiple assassination attempts. While no culprit was ever discovered, it is suspected that her mother may have been responsible.
In 2020, following a kidnapping attempt by multiple groups associated with factions in Lauchenoiria and Xiomera, Olivia and her mother Pauline formally reconciled and Olivia returned to the family household.
Personal life[edit | edit source]
Olivia Pierre is known to be a close associate of second in line to the Chiu seat on the Council of Kerlile, Xia Chiu, along with Reena Patel, a niece of Nirmala Patel who took part in the Xiomeran game show Pyramid of Misfortune in 2019. The trio are known to be fans of the Serrielan tabletop roleplaying game Spears of Glory.
