Public holidays in Sanctaria are a combination of both religious and secular events. The majority of public holidays in Sanctaria are based on cultural and historical events. Some of the most important federal public holidays include Sanctaria Day, which celebrates the dissolution of the Papal States of Sanctaria and the independence of modern Sanctaria, and Memorial Day, which is a national day of memory to pay respects for friends and family who have died.
