Buttercity is the capital city of Lauchenoiria. The city is situated in the north-east of the country within Fleura province, and has a metro area population of 2,826,286 (as of the 2016 census).

The 2018 IDU Film Festival took place in Buttercity, only two months after the conclusion of the Second Lauchenoirian Civil War. The city was praised for managing to prepare for the festival so shortly after a civil conflict.
