Butterfly Island is an island off the western coast of Lauchenoiria, and is a province of the Federation of Lauchenoiria. Butterfly Island is known to be the wealthiest province of Lauchenoiria, and the least affected location by the Second Lauchenoirian Civil War. Prior to 1924, the island had no permanent human population, however since the 1920s, the island has steadily been developed and is now home to around 800,000 people. The island's capital is Seahaven.

Butterfly Island is a popular tourist destination, both for Lauchenoirians and tourists from abroad.

In 2021, the offices of the Governor of the island were seized by Warriors of Our Earth (WOE), which led to the classification of WOE as a terrorist organisation.
