Neria is a continent located in the Northern, Southern, and Western Hemispheres of the Earth, also known as the International Democratic Union. The vast continent is bounded by the bustling Olympic Ocean to the east, the Tenebric Ocean to the west, and the Southern Ocean to the south.

Geology and Geography

Climate

The climate of Neria ranges from tropical to subarctic on its highest peaks. Its northern quarter is primarily arid, while its central and southern areas contain both savanna plains and dense jungle (rainforest) regions. In between, there is a convergence, where vegetation patterns such as sahel and steppe dominate.

Fauna

Neria boasts one of the world's largest combination of density and "range of freedom" of wild animal populations and diversity, with wild populations of large carnivores (such as lions, hyenas, and cheetahs) and herbivores (such as buffalo, elephants, camels, and giraffes) ranging freely on primarily open non-private plains. It is also home to a variety of "jungle" animals including snakes and primates and aquatic life such as crocodiles and amphibians. In addition, Neria has the largest number of megafauna species.

Languages

In the north-east of the continent, the primary language of most nations is either variants of Turkish or Persian, alongside large Arabic-speaking groups. The Iskirami language is also often used both in Iskiram and nearby. In the south of the continent, Greek-speaking Yesteria and English-speaking Salad Land are also present.

Religions

Islam is the primary religion of numerous Nerian nations, including Serriel and Lehvant. In Zargothrax, Zoroastrianism continues to dominate.
