Glanainn is a monarchy in Liberalia considered a protectorate of Opthelia. The nation was an independent country until the 1500s when, following an Opthelian invasion, Glannain's status as a protectorate began. While Glanainn is officially autonomous, in practice the nation has always followed Opthelian foreign policy since the 1500s.
