Second Lauchenoirian Civil War
Ecanta was the first province of the war to see fighting[4], when the First Battle of Annatown began on June 12, 2018. It is also the province that Kerlian forces first landed in[5]. Members of the Lauchenoirian Resistance destroyed bridges in Ecanta to prevent Gonhog reaching Summersea[6]. In mid-July, Ecanta was the main target for Laeralite forces[7].
Throughout the war, Ecanta suffered from a drought[8], which ended shortly before the Third Battle of Annatown. The Coalition to Liberate Lauchenoiria first gained a foothold in Ecanta in August when Slokasians managed to gain control of the town of Statsbrug[9].
