In November 2020, Mohamed Emid Gonzalez working with five associates all affiliated with the [[Kaijan League]] planned a mass shooting at the hotel. Gonzalez entered the building as a janitor before killing more than 30 people, many of those casualties being in a second-floor conference room meeting of RBR Associates a military contracting company. Later investigation revealed that a hotel employee gave him access to security cameras and specific room numbers of his targets. Gonalez then escaped the hotel less than 3 minutes after the attack began. He then fled with his associates before driving 35 miles to [[Kaijan City]] to meet with the perpetrators of the Kaijan Airport Attack. | |||
