The Universalised Calendar is an altered version of the traditional Gregorian calendar, which has found popular use in the Social Republic of the Novella Islands.
Its primary benefit of the altered calendar is its simple, uniform, and consistent structure. Quarters are all of exactly equal length, allowing for greater accuracy in statistical modelling and forward planning.
Objections to the model primarily arise on cultural or religious bases, with certain events based upon observation of lunar cycles becoming unaligned from their Gregorian calendar placement by up to two days, and the inclusion of the intercalary Yeardays resulting in an additional day's gap between weekly religious ceremonies.

- ↑ Leap Yearday occurs on every year that is exactly divisible by 4, but not for years that are also exactly divisible by 100, except for years that are also exactly divisible by 400, but not for years that are also exactly divisible by 4000. Thus, Leap Yearday is not present in the years 1700, 1800, and 1900, and while it is present in the year 2000 or 6000, it is not present in the years 4000 or 8000.
