Sanclaro is the largest city in Mansilla and a major world tourist destination for its pristine beaches and inexpensive vacationing opportunities. Around 1/3 of Sanclaro is designated as porto aperto, a region of Mansilla open to foreigners. Tourists are frequently arrested and deported for venturing outside of their porto apertos. Because of the heavy police presence within these porto apertos, however, Sanclaro is a comparatively safe tourist destination compared to much of the developing world.
