The orange river shrimp (Macrobrachium ignis) is a species of fresh water shrimp. It is native to the streams, rivers and creeks of Frésir, and Boemont. It is the largest known species of Wosteaquean freshwater shrimp species, growing up to 47 centimeters (18 in) long and weighing as much as 250 grams (0.55 lbs.). The orange river shrimp color ranges from orange to dark orange body, with the shrimps color typically darkening with age. Its diet consist of insects, and small fish. The main predator of the shrimp are the greater freshwater octopus, and the multicolored trout.
