List of Wosteaquean urban legends
This is a list of urban legends that are spread in Wosteaque. An urban legend, myth, or tale is a modern genre of folklore. It often consists of fictional stories associated with the macabre, superstitions, ghosts, demons, cryptids, extraterrestrials and other fear generating narrative elements. Urban legends are often rooted in local history and popular culture.
Proven urban legends[edit | edit source]
Gigantic Snakes of Mariso - Two species of titanoboa, greater titanoboa and the lesser titanoboa, were discovered in the late 1990s in the Húmatano river delta.
Phantom panther of Zlento was a popular urban legend that later turned out to be real. On June 11, 2023 a Wosteaque leopard was caught in the borough of Enkventer, Zlento.

Gigantic swamp spiders of the Fil Humide Bog are supposed gigantic spiders, up to 10 meters in size, that live in the Fil Humide Bog.

Ice whales are reportedly whales made of sapient ice with human like arms, they live in the frigid waters around the federal conservatory and research territory of Akilacding Isle.

Konservatorio Norda monolith is a titanium rectangular prism with a height of twenty five meters. It was found by a expedition from the National Geoscience Institute of Wosteaque. No person or group has admitted to making the monolith, which has led to numerous theories of it's origin. The monolith is often connected to the Mariso skyquakes.

Mariso skyquakes is a phenomenon where a loud booming sound is reported to originate from the sky. The longest skyquake was over two months in the Konservatorio Norda conservatory district. The skyquakes are often connected with the Konservatorio Norda monolith.

Self burring hose was a phenomenon where garden hoses seemly burrowed under the ground for unknown reasons.
Spontaneous gunshot is a reported sound phenomenon where it sounds like a gun was shot. It most commonly happens in uninhabited places.

Wall eyes are eyes that can open on any surface, when direct eye contact is made the eyes close, never to open again.
