Creed of the Covenant Queen
The Creed of the Covenant Queen is a contemporary belief system revolving around elemental powers. Their main teachings revolve around mutual respect and connectivity, and these teachings are often passed on through visits to spiritual places and weekly gatherings. The Creed's teachings come from lessons passed down from the first people who have volunteered to be teachers and mentors. They often express their beliefs through paintings, figurines and bracelets.
The Creed was formed by leader James Best in 1992 in Zamastan. It gets gets its name from the belief that the elements of the world are harnesed through a supernatural being named the Covenant Queen. Being a contemporary belief system, the Creed is often met with criticism from other religions and belief systems, but it is growing steadily. Opinions change and more people begin to view Creed as a means to reach a calmer state of mind, though it is generally regarded to most as a cult.
