The Christian Union Party, often referred to as simply Christian Union, is a socially conservative, Christian democratic, ring-wing political party in Sanctaria.
The party are supportive of family values (including traditional marriage), freedom of speech, protective of children and their rights including those of unborn children, and policies that are protective of established Sanctarian values and systems. They are opposed to both abortion and euthanasia, as well as pornography, and drug decriminalisation.
It has been led by John Halligan since 2004, however he has recently announced his intention to step down as leader to focus on regional politics. The party participates federally, where it has 25 MPs and 4 Senators; the party has not yet contested any of the currently established state governments.
