2020 Climate Conference

The 2020 Climate Conference was an international conference hosted by Lauchenoiria in 2020 with the aim of developing a common international framework to tackle climate change and associated environmental problems. Prime Minister Josephine Alvarez announced that the conference would be held following numerous protests hosted by Climate Alliance Lauchenoiria urging the government to host a climate conference. The conference was held in the city of Elopolis, which was suffering from a heatwave during the conference[1].

The conference was attended by representatives from Lauchenoiria, Maraix, Eiria, Milintica, Xiomera, Kerlile, Tsiba and Legionas[2].

A number of activist groups from various nations were also present outside the conference with the aim of encouraging delegates to commit to meaningful action. These included: Climate Alliance Lauchenoiria, Watchdogs of Our Earth (Lauchenoiria), Confederation of Eirian Environmentalists, Green Party of Milintica, Guardians of the Sea (Milintica), Island Protectors (Milintica), Kerlian Climate Campaign, Ecology Party (Tsiba), Bacada Farmers United (Tsiba), and Greater Earth Society of Legionas.
