General Eduardo Sanchez (born 7 February 1962) was a Lauchenoirian military officer on the side of the Lauchenoirian Junta during the Second Lauchenoirian Civil War, who was convicted of war crimes by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission set up by the Haven Accords. He is presently in prison in Sanctaria.
Conviction of war crimes[edit | edit source]
General Eduardo Sanchez was a high-ranking commander in the Lauchenoirian Army prior to the outbreak of the war. After Suleman Chaher removed Laura Moore from power, Sanchez chose to serve the new administration as the leader of the their forces, despite President Leanna Walker's opposition. Sanchez worked closely with Kerlile during the war, and was likely aware of numerous war crimes committed by their forces.
Under the post-war Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Sanchez was found criminally liable for war crimes under GA Resolution 458, "Command Responsiblity", due to his work with Kerlile and Gonhog and the legitimacy he lent to the Chaher/Clarke Administration.
