Brunelli (known as Cerano before 1962) is the capital of Mansilla and the nation's second largest metropolitan area. As the capital, the city of Brunelli houses the Mansillan government's critical administrative complexes including the royal residency, Palazzo dei Cento Fiori, the Prime Minister's sprawling manor, and the House of the Voccientilles, home to the nation's legislature. Brunelli is not a porto aperto, a region accessible to foreigners, so few non-Mansillans have seen the city in person. A visiting official in 1989 once described the city as "overcrowded, lacking in modern infrastructure, but disarmingly charming, like a window into 19th century urbanism."
