Peoria, is a northern Maximusian federal province. In addition to being the largest province (by land area) in the nation, it also has the second lowest population density (behind only Winfield). Peoria's west is notoriously inhospitable, the northernmost continuation of badlands which run through Winfield and Cambria. Perra is the province's capital and largest city, nestled in the foothills of the Empyrean mountain range.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
Peoria is a corruption of the native Hylotic word "Bhor," meaning, "rugged." Accordingly, "Peoria" means "rugged-land."
