South Acadia is a province located in Slokais Islands, It's one of the smallest by population and the most ethnically homogeneous.

History

Before the arrival of settlers, the Northern Isles were inhabited by a number of tribes such as the Islayas and Arkon'ah people. These groups primarily were farming societies constructing a number of settlements along the flat Acadian plain. In 840, Minjian settlers constructed a remote tenple situated high within the Acadia Mountains. Besides this devlopmeant, Minjian settlmeant was minimal. It was not until the 1750s that widespread settlmeant occuried, primarly made of farmers and sheephearders from Sanctaira. In 1830, the province joined the Acadian Territory, around the same time a trading port was built at the mouth of Clyde River known as Clydewood. This town soon became the center of the timber industry in the region with the population reaching 15,000 in 1890. South Acadia was intially part of Acadia Province, however local leaders cricized the mostly Ren govermeant for the alleged favortism towards the Minjian Faith, eventually in 1911 after a series of protests in the provincal capital of Pindai, both North and South Acadia where created.
