The Democratic Left Party, often abbreviated to DLP, is a social-democratic political party in Sanctaria.
Led by Charlene Hendry since 2007, the party is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Sanctaria along with the Sanctarian Conservative Party (SCP). The Democratic Left Party have governed at the federal level in Sanctaria as a majority government since February 2018 following the results of the Sanctarian general election, 2018. The party participates in all 3 of the currently established state governments, with 1 of them currently governed by a DLP Premier or Governing-Mayor.
