North Kaijan

North Kaijan is Province on Kaijan Island in Slokais Islands

Overview

The Province is the 3rd largest in the nation and is home to 3 million people and 32 townships. The Province was created in 1903 after it was split from South Kaijan. The Province has its capital at Kaijan City a city of 2 million people. Most of the province is mountains and valleys and has been called some of the most beautiful landscapes in Slokais. The area has a dark past as it's seen both Kaijan Wars as well as the Republic Of Kaijan.

==Climate and People==

The climate is very jungle-like with lots of mountains and high hills. The culture is very unique compared to the rest of Sloakis with roots in the culture of Serriel and other countries near there however the culture has grown to its surroundings a lot. 65% of people practice Islam even though Islam is not that common outside of Kaijan. Outside the cities, towns often centered around local headmen who often look after the town and often express the needs to the township authorities. They are not elected but act as if they were the mayor of their town. Most towns are centered around a train stop and usually a small Sun-Mart as well as a headman's house.
