Giancarlo Ricci (born May 12, 1956) is a Mansillan politician and the incumbent prime minister of the nation since 1996. In the late 1970s, Ricci conspired with Mario di Brambilla, his father-in-law, to oust Lorenzo D'Amaro from power. Though Ricci has been applauded by the international community for opening the nation up to limited international tourism and trade, following a series of foreign and domestic policy reforms in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Ricci has been accused of election-rigging, corruption, embezzlement, and political assassination.
