Ibrahim Al-Abikhar Kamza was born on Septemeber 9th, 1985 to Isar Malek and Abikhar Kamza in the farming community of Al Miqdaya. Kamza was born into a family of farmers, and thus much of his childhood was spent working on his parent's farm. At age 14, Kamza entered Lower Terouba Secondary School where he joined the school's baseball team. According to Kamza, he was introduced to baseball by his friends and ended up starting in his first season. Kamza quickly became the best player in Terouba Emirate by qualifying the school team for the All-Mallacaland Baseball Finals. The following year, Kamza led Lower Terouba to an All-Mallacaland Championship and thus qualified for the following year's Youth Baseball Classic. Throughout his high school career, Kamza averaged a batting average of .298, enough to earn several offers from minor league clubs in Slokais.

Kamza ended up making his debut later in the season, where he quickly impressed as both an excellent center-fielder and a great slugger. Kamza finished his freshmen season by being voted into the Collegiate All-Rookie Team and winning the Southern Conference Rookie of the Year. In the 2004-2005 Season, Kamza became Southern University's home run leader and led the Bears to a Collegiate Series berth. Throughout this time, Kamza became recognized in Mallacaland with Kamza being named to U-21 National Team in the team's first year of existence.
