The Left Alliance is a left-wing political party in Lauchenoiria. The party has existed in varying forms since the 1960s, initially being founded as a moderate alternative to the Communist Party while the ban on pro-capitalist political parties continued. In its modern iteration, the Left Alliance is seen as a libertarian alternative to the Communists, and is supported by those who subscribe to a wide variety of left-wing ideologies who are supportive of democracy and free elections.

History

The party was historically the moderate, legal alternative to the Communists during the regime. After the legalisation of pro-capitalist parties in 1993, the Alliance began to fall by the wayside, losing more and more votes until by 2018 it was a fringe party. However, since the Second Lauchenoirian Civil War, the party has had a resurgence due to the fall of the Communists after many associate them with the war.

Policies

The party believes in re-running the capitalism referendum, keeping private healthcare illegal, cut military spending, legalise gun ownership and restrict trade with capitalist countries.
