The Slokasian Legislature is a legislative body of the United Federation of the Slokais Islands. Their job is to pass and regulate bills and laws, as well as to call for presidential elections or to override the president. Elections are held every 4 years or can occur as soon as 2 years after the last election, depending on whether an election is called by a majority vote for the Legislature at the start of a new session. In addition, a Presidential Election also occurs at the same time. An election may only be called at the start of a new session, which officially lasts from January to May and August to November.
