Kaijan City was founded in 1127 by traders who wanted to trade with local tribes. By the 1400s it was a walled city with 40,000 people liveing within its walls. Thought the city were lots of markets from rice to samon to spices it was all sold. The city was home to the Kaijan Academy were thinkers would gather to discuss and learn knoweldge. In the 1700s it was home to the a insectution from Costeno it was the site of the Battle of Kaijan Bay were a massive fleet attacked the city and deafted the rebels. Much of the outer city was destroyed as well as much of the port. The city was rebuilt but the inner city remained as the areas around it changed. The city changed again in the Early 1800s as new settlers built a new port in were Downtown is today. When Slokais became indepdent the city became the captial of Kaijan Provnce and later North Kaijan Province.

When Slokais became independent the city became the capital of Kaijan Province and later North Kaijan Province.

Thought the city were lots of markets from rice to salmon to spices. The city was home to the Kaijan Academy where thinkers would gather to discuss and learn knowledge related to math and science. In the 1700s it was the site of the Battle of Kaijan Bay where a massive fleet attacked the city and defeated the rebels. Much of the outer city was destroyed as well as much of the port. The city was rebuilt but the inner city remained as the areas around it changed. Kaijan City changed again in the early 1800s as new settlers built a port upon the ruins of downtown. When Slokais became independent the city became the capital of Kaijan Province and later North Kaijan Province.
