The Aredoan Workers' Party is a center-left to left-wing political party in Aredoa. The Workers' Party is one of the oldest political parties in Aredoa and is currently the largest party in the National Assembly, leading the coalition government with the People's Party and the Alliance for a Green Future. Chief Minister Alejandro Lopez is the leader of the Workers' Party.
The Workers' Party has been described as advocating for both social democracy and democratic socialism throughout its recent history. It has strong ties to the labor movement, with many of the largest trade unions in Aredoa being actively affiliated to the party. The Workers' Party holds an annual party conference at which the parliamentary caucus, rank-and-file members, and affiliated trade unions all receive a vote during the democratic adoption of policies to the party's official platform.
