Born Alexandra Harpan Ahmad to a family of farmers in rural [[Slokais Islands]], she worked from a young age, helping around the farm. Her father was Kaijanese while her mother was a local farmer. Growing up in the Early 90s her family suffered under the Economic Collapse of the area and she was forced to take a job at a nearby fishery. While there she earned enough money to attend Vallieres School of Industry, where she graduated with a degree in marketing. She then moved to Port Hartwell and began working for a small marketing firm in the early 2000s. When the Second Kaijan War began in 2008, she took a new job as an aid worker with the government. In 2012, she was added to a Left Party list in Vallieres Province, not expected to win, though the Left Party had large gains in the province and she was elected to the Slokaisan Legislature. She was re-elected in 2014 and 2016. In 2017 she was one of the first members of the National Alliance and was a key asset in convincing Left Party voters.
