The targets of these attacks included a nightclub, a construction site, the outside of a government office, and an army convoy. The [[Golden Blade]] terrorist organisation claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating that they were "declaring war" on the government of Huenya.

On September 12, a series of further terrorist attacks occurred across Huenya, targeting Huenyan leaders. Several days before the primary election day, a polling station was targeted by the Golden Blade during early voting. On election day, further attacks took place, with both terrorists and voters being killed.
