==Formation==

The Lauchenoirian Resistance was formed by supporters of [[Laura Moore]]'s [[Liberal Party of Lauchenoiria|Liberal]] government. It was comprised initially of mainly Liberal Party supporters, but over the course of the war gained support from various anti-authoritarian and/or pro-capitalist groups. 

The group was led by [[Sonja Viratnen-Alvarez]] in the capital of Buttercity, with further groups set up in other areas, notably in Elopolis by the former governor of [[Ulinaria (Lauchenoirian Province)|Ulinaria]] province, [[Victoria Juarez]], who was later convicted of war crimes for the mistreatment of prisoners of war.
