Do you make rigid airships?
What are the largest that you make?
Max capacity for passengers?
Cargo tonnage?
Can you provide technical assisstance in aerodrome construction/ fleet management? [/quote]
Schmeiser does in fact manufacture rigid and non-rigid airships.
I'll have to think a bit about the largest size ... but the airships currently made are intended for overseas travel. Schmeiser has provided the Mikitivity Rote Kreuz with one ship that the organization can use to ferry emergency crews. I'll probably actually start building some actual stats for all the airships produced and currently in service plus those that were in accidents in March.
Thus far, I figure I'll number each ship: Sm-1, Sm-2, Sm-3, etc. and then assign it a class and designation. The class will be used to determine variations on a model, so Sm-1 and Sm-2 will likely be experimental rigid ships used in Mikitivity and likely of the Sm-1 Class. Once a ship is sold, its designation is up to whomever bought the craft, so airships sold in Mikitivity will probably be LS-1, LS-2, etc. for Luftschiff-1, etc. But once an airship is sold outside of the confederation its designation is for whom purchases it.
Balloons, being cheaper, won't be numbered, but will still have a class (and within Mikitivity a designation, which actually will be carried by the gondola).
Obviously the cargo tonage will be a factor of two things: your ability to fuel the ship (which Hawkins canton -- where Schmeiser will be headquartered -- will have some helium and there is no reason that other countries can supply it, but you are free to risk non-Mikitivity flights using hydrogen.)
My graphics skills aren't at the point where I can 3D render images for the ships, but for roleplaying purposes, purchasing a Schmeiser airship (not balloon) means you'll get technical support as well. There also will naturally be a test airport in St. Claire. (FYI: I lived in Upper St. Claire, PA as a small child ... a suburb of Pittsburgh.)
Anyways, I figure I'll slowly build up an industry around this. I plan on spending the next year in NationStates developing Mikitivity's industries, ecology, and culture (yes, there will be more festivals, authors, musicians, opera halls, comic books, etc slowly making their debute) and also on importing some of the things you guys make!
