I've been avoiding this thread like the plague, and I think for good reason. The only reason I'm in it now is to say that I'm sad to see Disjunction go out like that, as he was an extremely valuable member of the region.
I'm very conflicted as to who's right in this argument, so I'm staying out. I can see each side's argument...but I wish it could have happened another way. In a period of mass inactivity, the last thing we need is to lose 2 members. And especially two members that have actually contributed to the region.
Quod may have made sense logically, but I know I personally (an against vote) wasn't voting as much on logic as I was on principle against repeals, and especially ones I don't feel are extremely necessary. I wasn't really voting logically, and that's it. I know Disjunction said something similar, and I think that was kind of what he was trying to say.
Anyway, this thread is just not going anywhere good, so this will be the last time I contribute to it. I just hope I don't see this again.
