Nooo!!! Argh! Rant alert! O_O
I get absolutely pissed of by this whole bird flu hype. First of all, there is no immediate danger for humans. It'll take a while before that virus will be able to go from human to human. And even from animal to human is rare - only 50 or so cases in a heavy populated area such as southeast Asia.
Secondly, even if the virus mutates to a human-human form, we don't even know whether it'll be dangerous. It might well be less dangerous than a normal flu.
Thirdly, this is nationstates, not real life.
So, in other words, don't write a resolution on this issue. Period. I'll campaign against it if I must. All this flu stuff is just scaremongering, just like SARS was, just like Saddam's WoMD, just like so many things these days. Get over it, life'll go on.
 [/quote]
OK, second idea it is then
I'll write up a draft when I have time...maybe later this week?
