I thought today that a good UN proposal would be Advertising Standards, so far I've thought of a few things for this proposal to cover:
1. Banning false advertising
2. On TV, speaking the price of the item instead of having it in fine print, and also speaking side effects of prescription drugs, etc.
3. Possibly making a limit of how small fine print can be so that the average person can read it?
If you can think of more topics this should cover or suggestions about those topics, let me know. Once I know the topics to cover I'll write a draft.
