Where are we all?
#26

Somewhat Late to the party but I'm from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Just north of us are the towns that are usually the coldest the the lower 48. Nice to see both world diversity and other folks from the states. I've lived here for ten years but grew up in Philly, right on second street. Pretty tough neigborhood. Everyone I knew moved to Jersey.

It would be cool to have a RL world map showing where we live. Smile

*Yuunli remembers there is a free "guestmap" service.

I created such a map. Up to 100 people can pin their location, but you have to know where you are. ;-)

I'm bumping this, I'm always interested in knowing where everyone's from, and we have a lot of new members who may not have read this thread before.

And Iowa City is moonlighting as Anv?ln, at least for photos. Anv?ln's much bigger than Iowa City.

L?sank?n University is the University of Iowa. I changed a lot of things, but that's why I put it in Anv?ln and not in a bigger city.

The Kentis School of Design is really a University of Iowa building, I think it's actually some laser technology building?

The Old Capitol is the Old Capitol, the actual state capitol building of Iowa until it moved to Des Moines in 1857.

The tornadoes I set in Anv?ln back on April 15 were tornadoes in downtown Iowa City two days earlier. Luckily, I live far away enough that I wasn't affected Smile

Worthing, West Sussex, England... which (for obvious reasons Wink) has had no influence whatsoever on my description of 'Bears Armed'...

I liked the touch of providing a wikilink in Saidercrays post, so here is one about the island I grew up on. I am currently residing in the town of Stockholm, but this will always be home:

I've heard of it... Never been anywhere near it, except for a couple of times when I was aboard trains between London & Scotland [via Crewe & Preston], though...
