The Following nations will be participating in the 2019 Shuell Olympic Games
However... Like an absolute fool I failed to include two key aspects of the signups in the actual signups. If you all would be so kind please fill out these two other parameters.
What the heck is that last bit about?
If you are unfamiliar with conventional sports RPs (such as this one) this will all look like gibberish to you. That is ok. I will attempt to explain it all here.
Choose my Goalscorer
This one is simple enough. People in this region are all on different schedules so someone will invariably RP before the other in any given match. After Shuell posts the results many people will find that they do need to include all goal-scorers in their post, including their opponents. If you say "yes" to this option your opponent may pick your goal-scorers and they will be canonical. If you mark "no," your opponent may not list which players on your team scored.
GodMod scoring events
Some people think that totally unrealistic victories are super neat. Maybe the ball deflected off the bleachers and ricocheted off a player, maybe the ball caught fire. It is ridiculous things like that that are totally not in the realm of reality that would constitute a "GodMod Scoring Event." Most people don't like these as they totally break realism. If you mark "no" your opponent can not GodMod a goalscoring event.
RP injuries to my player
This one is simple. Can they or can't they. If they can they still can't ridiculously injure your players. Just a sprained wrist or a hurt ankle. This is a risky one to say yes to.
GodMod injuries
Your player is bisected by a falling Jumbotron. Your athlete gets their head knocked off by a right hook. Honestly, If you say yes to this you are asking to loose.
Hand out penalties
Some sporting events have penalties that carry over to other rounds. Do you want your opponent to be able to potentially assign those in there Roleplaying or not?
GodMod other events
Thanos kills half of the people in the stadium. Someone nukes the nation. Aliens invade. Even if you say yes to this and your opponent does the GodMod can only effect as many people all across the board who said "yes". Handle this one with extreme care. Also, other nations, even the ones who are unaffected by the event, have the final right to non-canonize the event if it deals longterm damage to the IDU's collective canon.
Golden Rule of these Games: Whoever RPs first is correct
If someone posts before you, so long as they respected your permissions requests, their post is canon. With that said, they still have to follow all results posted by Shuell. They can't have won by 30 points if Shuell says they only by two.
