The Secretary of Trade of Zamastan is the head of the Zamastan Department of Commerce which is concerned with international trade and domestic markets. This position in the federal government of Zamastan is analogous to the Minister of Finance, Commerce, or Trade in many other countries. The Secretary of Trade is a member of the President's Cabinet, and is nominated by the President of Zamastan. Nominees for Secretary of the Treasury Trade undergo a confirmation hearing before the Congressional Committee on Finance before being voted on by the Senate.
