The Secretary of Environmental Conservation of Zamastan is the head of the Zamastan Department of Environmental Conservation which is charged with the goal of protecting the environment of Zamastan, including ecosystem preservation and co-dependency on development in environmentally designated areas. The Secretary of EC is a member of the President's Cabinet, and is nominated by the President of Zamastan. Nominees for Secretary undergo a confirmation hearing before the Congressional Committee on Ecological Study before being voted on by the Senate.
