Halls Province is a province in Slokais Islands, home to 958,301 people with a capital and largest city of Easton. Created in 1942, Halls has the largest percentage of those of Blancos ancestry due to settlement during the period of colonial rule by Sanctaria. Halls is known for its large mining and quarrying industries, as well as its production of indigo and other dyes. Halls is geographically small and mountainous, with the province located on the Hastings-Ichurak plateau, and the population mainly in the coastal and river valleys along the coast.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

The term "Halls" originated in a 1825 description of the territory, which described the area's narrow river valleys as "Hall's of wonder waiting to be explored". Additionally, in 1840, when Saint Aquinas College was opened in Easton they described the territory as the Hallsland of San Fernando Island. The term stuck and was used by locals until the name became official in 1942 with the founding of the province.
